Metacognitive Strategies, Language Learning Motivation, Self-Efficacy Belief, and English Achievement During Remote Learning: A Structural Equation Modelling Approach

Metacognitive strategies, language learning motivation, and self-efficacy belief are crucial to online or remote success. The purpose of the present study was evaluate interrelationship among metacognitive belief, English achievement. data were collected from three surveys an test. participants 590 Chinese university students. findings revealed that predicts In particular, strategies motivation mediate predictive effects on show potential enhancing achievement by facilitating learners’ strategies. Implications can be gained for within beyond coronavirus (COVID-19) context.
